Carrington was founded in 2004 by Bryn Lewis and Sukru Karakaya.

At the time of founding the business, Sukru Karakaya was working in the financial sector as well as working with his family in the construction business in North Cyprus. Bryn was living in England working in the property restoration business.

In 2003, whilst investing in Land & property, Bryn and Sukru met and discussed at length the idea of forming a joint British & Turkish Cypriot construction company. Between Bryn’s construction experience in the UK and Sukru’s experience both in the financial sector and construction in North Cyprus, it was set to prove a very worthy partnership.

A long time was spent searching for the ideal land to start the first project; this was eventually found and is today known as ‘Sunset Valley’.  In very little time Carrington had sold the whole of the Sunset Valley project and construction started in February 2005. It soon became apparent the direction of the business was heading and Bryn relocated to Cyprus in June 2005 in order to join Sukru and drive the business forward.

Over the last 8 years Carrington has now successfully completed and handed over 141 properties and one commercial factory. During the following 9 months we are on schedule to complete a further 61 properties. Carrington regularly features in local magazines, newspapers and exhibits all over Europe whilst selling our products.

In the 2008 Property awards: Carrington were extremely proud to have won the
‘Best Luxury Development’ and ‘Best Interior Design’.

 In the 2009 Property awards: Carrington were extremely proud to have won the
‘Constructor of the Year‘, ‘Developer of the year’ and ‘Best Apartment’.
